Description:

Cypress Creek Park is located on Lake Travis in the scenic Hill Country of central Texas. This small, easy-to-reach park (within a half-hour's drive from downtown Austin) is a favorite spot for boating, picnicking, and fishing.

The main body of the park has a gently sloping waterfront. The boat ramp and cove provide easy access to the popular basin area of Lake Travis and other Travis County Parks on Lake Travis.

Camping: Overnight campers should be aware that Cypress Creek Park offers primitive camping only. The camping section of Cypress Creek Park is accessible only through the entrance located on Bullick Hollow Rd. The section of Cypress Creek Park accessible from 2769 is Day Use Only. No water or improved facilities are currently available. Ground fires are permitted as seasonal conditions allow, but visitors are required to bring in their own firewood. Cutting or gathering of firewood, including kindling, is not allowed.

In an effort to allow all park visitors to enjoy their stay at Cypress Creek Park, we ask that all overnight campers arrive by midnight and keep vehicle traffic to a minimum after dark. Quiet hours are enforced between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. All radios and generators must be turned off at this time.

Hours: Day use is 9:00 AM to civil twilight (dark), open 24 hours a day for camping.
