Learn the basics to birding as well as how to identify a couple birds that live in the Lost Pines!

Learn the basics of birding like how to use binoculars correctly, what identification books are useful, what birding apps are out there and what they do, how you can make your backyard more bird friendly and how to identify some birds that all Bastrop home! 

Meet at the Farkleberry spur head parking lot and picnic area. 

Bring bottled water, a fold out chair, and your binoculars! 

We will have a few extra binoculars to borrow during the program.

Program is free after park entrance fees are paid. Children 12 and under are free.
