What stories do the stars tell? Are they different from one continent to the next?
Come down to our Star Theater for a (hopefully) unobstructed view of the heavens with the naked eye! Different constellations are visible throughout the year, so each season we will see something new!
- 6:30pm - Presentation begins - arrive early for open seating!
- 7:30pm - Open stargazing - bring your own telescope or binoculars and ask questions or just enjoy the dark skies!
- 8:00pm - Event ends
Meet at the Equestrian area trailhead and follow the red lights on a 200 ft walk to the star theater behind the large barn! The trail is mostly dirt and grass. It may be muddy if it has rained recently.
Bring your own blankets/chairs to watch the skies! Stone seats are available for use as well.
Buy your day pass at home! Go to our Website to purchase (with credit card) and print your day pass ahead of time! Exact change required if arriving after 5pm.
Please check weather and this page before leaving for the event, weather can sneak up at the last minute. Final go/no go decision will be by 2pm the day before the event.
Bring flashlights but please don't use them once the program and stargazing has begun. Red lights are permitted for limited use. The longer you let your eyes adjust the more stars you will see!
Child and dog friendly. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please no noisy or aggressive dogs.
Normal entrance fees required to enter park. No additional fees or registration required to attend this event.
