Description:

This 46-acre park was gifted to the City of Cedar Park in 2004. Attractions include the historic John M. King Log House (built in 1859) and grounds, a cave, historic burned rock middens, and lots of green space to run around along the creekside. Picnic tables along the greenbelt make this park a great place to have lunch, while creek-side benches offer a shady spot to read or relax.

The park is accessed via the Twin Creeks Historic Park Trail (also known to some locals as "Hill Country Trail"), which stretches from the trailhead at FM2769 to Zennor Court. The first ~1/2 mile of the trail is an old paved road, which transitions to an approximately 1/2 mile sidewalk along the creekside, and concludes with another ~1/4 mile of rocky trail along the creek. The trailhead is not readily visible from the street, but is located on the north side of FM2679/Volente Road between the entrance to the Bella Vista neighborhood and Abbotsbury Drive - look for the green (unmarked) country club maintenance facility, which shares a parking lot with the trailhead. The Plus Code for the location is F42X+WR Austin, Texas.

No ADA parking was visible; most of the trail is paved, but there are some rough and steep sections that may be difficult for some visitors to transverse. Free and open to the public.
