Narrows Recreation Area has the only public boat ramp on the lake's upper south side. Narrows is closed at night except for the boat ramp.

Special notes: The access road to the Narrows crosses Alligator Creek at a low-water crossing. During heavy rainstorms, the creek may be impassable. This location may not always be barricaded during unpredictable weather. Visitors should use extreme caution or avoid the area at those times.
