Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park is set along Shoal Creek, in the Allandale neighborhood. It is a favorite spot for office picnics, sports and family gatherings.  Additional ammenities include a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a volleyball court.

Grebes and other ducks can be found in the park's attractive pond, which also contributes to flood control for Shoal Creek.
