Join Caleb Helsel for a morning of birding at Hornsby Bend, one of Austin’s best birding hotspots.

When driving into Hornsby Bend, you will have to stop by the gate to sign in and show identification. Be sure to bring of water and snacks. A restroom is available onsite.

We recommend ages 8 and older who can demonstrate appropriate birding etiquette. It is important for Young Birders to have the ability to walk quietly and be respectful on the trails without running or disturbing other members. A parent or guardian must accompany their child(ren) at all Travis Audubon Young Birders Club events.
