Enjoy an informative talk with a park ranger!
Vultures are large, massive soaring scavengers with wing spans up to six feet. They soar long distances looking for carrion. They call E Rock home where you can see large kettles up to 35 at a time soaring in circles seemingly never to tire. Join volunteer Park Interpreters and see how many you can spot! Fridays at 9:00am- Viewing at Gazebo at base of Summit Trail.
This event is free with the purchase of a day pass or overnight camping permit. These can be reserved at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. Adults 13+ are $8/person; children 12 and younger are free.
