Join Park Rangers this morning on a guided tour to the summit of Enchanted Rock. Moderate-Challenging 1.6-mile hike.

Spend your Thanksgiving morning with Park Rangers as we ascend to the summit of Enchanted Rock. We will share history of the park alongside flora and fauna facts as we climb. 

End time will be approximately 12:30 PM - you can split off early if needed or hang out with us all the way back down!

Meet: At the Gazebo for a 10 AM start time

Bring: Comfortable hiking boots/shoes, trekking pole (optional), water (32 oz minimum); dress for the weather!

Note: Pets are not allowed to attend this hike.

Reservations are required to enter Enchanted Rock on weekends, holidays and/or during school breaks. You can check day pass availability and make reservations online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. 

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for this event. Entry is free with an active Texas State Parks Pass. No registration or additional fee required for this event. All are welcome!

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail, rock domes & upper trails are closed.
