Join a park host to learn how to make one of the oldest children's toys in existence!

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the State Natural Area Friday through Monday, on holidays and/or during school breaks.

Texas Wildlife details:
Location: Day-use Picnic Area.
Time: drop by anytime between 8:30A-10:30A
Distance: no hiking.

Learn how to make your very own Texas Hero or Rag Doll. Supplies & instructions will be provided. Activity can be completed at home.

Reservations are required to enter the state natural Area Friday through Sunday, on holidays or during school breaks. You can check day pass availability online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. While a reservation is required for park entry, you do not need to RSVP for this program specifically.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: There will be NO water available in the park from June 4th through July 1st. All visitors MUST bring their own water for consumption. Non-flushing restrooms will be available.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated areas of the park are closed.
