Join a park ranger or volunteer master naturalist for a trip to the summit of Enchanted Rock. Learn the natural and cultural history of the park, the flora and fauna, and some of the legends that give the granite dome its name.
Have you ever wondered, "How big is Enchanted Rock?", "What type of rock is this?", "How old is the rock?", "What is SO important about those puddles at the top?" This is your chance to ask everything you ever wanted to know about Enchanted Rock. The hike travels 6/10 of a mile to the top, with a 425-foot elevation gain. We take our time so you can ask questions and enjoy the beautiful views of the Texas Hill Country.
