Happy National Trails Day!

This hike will start on the Loop Trail and then take us over Little Rock and Enchanted Rock, up Freshman Mountain, Turkey Peak & Buzzard's Roost and on toward Flag Pole. Experienced hikers only, the hike covers over 4.5 miles with lots of elevation change.

Bring

• Hiking shoes/boots
• Plenty of water (3+ liters/person recommended)
• Snacks
• Sunscreen
• Dress for the weather

Meet in campground between campsites 18 & 19.

Entrance fee for the park is $7/person (children 12 and under are free); no additional fee to attend this program. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. No need to register, just show up.

The weather is heating up here in Central Texas, please be prepared to be in the sun for 4 hours if you are attending this hike. Shade is limited. Stay safe out there!

MAX CAPACITY ALERT: The park is extremely busy during the weekends and on any school holiday. Plan on arriving at the park early (park opens at 7:30AM) if you want to attend this event.

*If you are arriving before or after office hours, you will need to use the Self-pay station. The Self-pay station is located at the front door of the office. Self-pay is CASH or TSPP only.
