Join a Park Ranger or Master Naturalist as we hike to the top of Enchanted Rock.

Along the way, we'll learn about the geology, history and biology of this special place. We'll hear tales of derring-do and see sweeping panoramic views!

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the State Natural Area on weekends. For this event -- it is suggested you purchase the 6:30A-8:00A entry time and use self-pay when you arrive. Please arrive with enough time to be at the meeting location by the start time.

Guided Summit Hike details:
Meet at the Gazebo at the beginning of the Summit Trail.

Time: Approximately 2 hours.
Distance: 1.5 miles round trip.
Elevation gain: 425 feet.

• Sunscreen
• Dress for the weather

Reservations are required to enter the state natural area Friday through Sunday, holidays or school breaks. You can check day pass availability online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. While a reservation is required for park entry, you do not need to RSVP for this program specifically.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: There will be NO water available in the park from June 4th through July 1st. All visitors MUST bring their own water for consumption. Non-flushing restrooms will be available.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated trails and areas of the park are closed.
