There’s whispers of the past all through this park! Join us for short walking tour through some historic buildings and learn their stories!
Take a stroll through time as we go back to the 1930's when the park was first being built and find out how Bastrop and Buescher State Park saved families across the USA!

Take a tour of the Historic Golf Shelter and Starter House and learn about the CCC who built the park!

From boys to men!  The 1930's were a tough time!  Just how tough?  Come find out on this walking tour of our historic CCC buildings and structures!  During this easy 1 mile or less stroll we will admire the craftsmanship shown from a strong generation!

Meet:  Historic Golf Shelter parking lot
Time: 10am to 11am
Bring: Bottled water, appropriate clothing for weather, close-toed shoes, and your cameras
Difficulty: Easy, 1 mile walking tour, mostly over old golf cart paths.

Program is free after park entrance fee's have been paid.
