Paint with all the colors of the wind at Lockhart State Park!
Channel your inner artist in this outdoor painting program! Watercolor painting is a fun way to make keepsakes, especially when you travel. Come try it out with us, and take home a memory of things you've seen in the park! No experience required.
The park will supply watercolor paper, paint, and brushes; however, you can bring your own supplies, if you prefer. There will also be a limited supply of art boards and easels to borrow on a first come, first served basis. All ages welcome.
Prepare: Wear weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended), and bring a bottle of water. No registration required.
Meet: Meet in the picnic area of the park. If driving from park HQ, pass the pool and take your first right-hand turn into the picnic area parking lot.
Fees: Program is free with paid entry to the park. Regular park entrance fees are $3/adult, free for children 12 & under.
