Join Ranger Rena at the Junior Ranger table, next to the Pavilion, to do activities and earn your Junior Ranger badge. For ages 6-12, and all those young at heart.

Interested youth complete a series of activities, share their answers with a park ranger and receive a Junior Ranger pin. These activities are typically for ages 6-12, but anyone is welcome. 

Bring: Water, sunscreen, and appropriate weather attire. 

Meet:  Near the pavilion

Regular park entrance fees apply ($5 per person; 12 years & younger are free). There is no extra fee for this program. Free entrance with Texas State Parks Pass
