This hike will take us up the Summit Trail to the top of Enchanted Rock. 

IMPORTANT: Registration is required to attend this event. Registration closes when all spaces are claimed or the day before the event. Click here to register.

Distance: 1.5 mile round trip. 
Difficulty: challenging 
Elevation gain: 425 feet.

NO PETS are allowed on this hike.

IMPORTANT: Reservations are required to enter the state natural area on weekends, holidays or school breaks. You can check day pass availability and make reservations online at TexasStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com. The latest available entrance permit is 4-8PM - all visitors must be in the park prior to 8PM when the entrance gate closes.

Entrance fees: $8/adult; children 12 and under are free; no additional fees for park programs. Entry is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.

All programs are weather dependent -- if it rains, the Summit Trail and all elevated trails and areas of the park are closed. 

You must be registered and be at the start location at the posted start time to join in on this event. The Summit Trail and all elevated areas in the park close half an hour after Sunset unless you are with a Park Ranger.
