National Wildflower Week
Location
During National Wildflower Week May 2 through 8, the Wildflower Center partners with Texas Highways magazine in a photo exhibit titled “The Serendipity of Wildflowers.” Every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the McDermott Learning Center, this exhibit sponsored by Canon highlights colorful, contemporary wildflower photography from their April issue. The Wildflower Center also hosts guided tours mid-day on Friday, May 6, for National Public Gardens Day. The tours will focus on native plant drought tolerance and the wildlife habitat native plants provide.
