Many plants use scents to lure insects to their blooms for pollination. Some birds dance while others create art to attract a mate. On February 17th during Nature Valentines explore the fascinating world of how organisms use exciting, colorful and funny adaptations to survive.
When the weather turns cold, what do our animal friends do? Learn about Animals in Winter February 20th and take a peek into the habits of chilly creatures. Feel the soft fur of a ferret and touch the burrowing claws of a turtle. Join us on a hike through the Zilker Nature Preserve in search for evidence of animal’s winter habitats.
